songwriting with loops & tracks
3 week class + a house show
Solo and in pairings, we’ll play in your favorite DAW (GarageBand, Logic, Band Lab) to learn the process of making original music with beats and loops. We’ll practice using creative exercises and learn strategies surrounding lyrics and musical impact, melody writing, song form, and vocal tracking.

pop vocal masterclass
1 day workshop
Students will prepare a contemporary song of any genre to workshop with Tara Palmer in front of the group so that observers can learn in a real-time coaching setting. Main areas of focus are style, connection to the material, believability, confidence, and dynamic performance techniques.

GROWN-Up PIANO CLASS
3 week GROUP class + BYOB!
Like a “paint and palette” but with keyboards. Relaxed pace with no pressure, all fun. Learn the basics of reading music, some scales and chords, and a ditty to impress your friend with!
