Lauren ROSE McKenna

SINGER/SONGWRITER, ARRANGER, EDUCATOR

Lauren is a multifaceted music educator and composer with extensive training across classical, pop, jazz, and musical theater genres. Her musical passion lies in musical composition and vocal jazz. Lauren first started writing music on the elementary school playground and nas since written numerous songs of various genres. With seven years of experience as a private music teacher, Lauren's educational journey began at the age of 16. She quickly discovered a passion for teaching and has since been committed to sharing her love of music and investing in young musicians.

In addition to classical playing, Lauren’s piano training focuses on developing a deeper understanding of music through the study of music theory. Her goal as a teacher is to meet the individual needs of each student in order to bring out their full musical creativity and potential. Lauren’s vocal training focuses on building strength, technique and confidence, no matter the genre.

She began her academic career at Korea University in Seoul, Korea with studies focused on mixed media production, where she created videos, studied marketing, content creation, and gained experience working in the entertainment industry. She is currently studying Music at University of Central Oklahoma with an emphasis in jazz and composition.
